中高一貫校の一部をリノベーションしたインターナショナルスクール。教室には手を加えず廊下との区画のパーティションを撤去しゆるやかな曲面の壁で仕切り直すことで多様な教育活動を生み出す空間をデザインした。曲面に囲まれた空間はディスカッションできるコーナーやガラスで仕切ることでミーティングスペースとして活用されている。様々な幅を持った廊下は展示やワークショップなど生徒たちの活動を許容する場となっている。

An international school that renovated part of an integrated middle and high school. Without modifying the classrooms, we designed a space for various educational activities by removing the partitions between the classrooms and the corridor and re-partitioning the space with gently curved walls. The space surrounded by curved surfaces is used as a corner for discussion and a meeting room with glass partitions. The corridors of various widths provide a space for student activities such as exhibitions and workshops.
