徳島県吉野川流域の農家古民家を、東京からUターンする施主の住まいとしてリノベーションする計画の一部。1827年竣工の納屋をゲストルーム兼多目的スペースに改修した。建築当初の外観の雰囲気を取り戻しつつ鉄骨の門型フレームを加えて構造補強を行った。1階はイベント等も行える土間の多目的スペース、2階には断熱されたゲストルームを設けている。

A part of a project to renovate an old farmhouse in the Yoshino River basin in Tokushima Prefecture as a home for the client, who is making a U-turn from Tokyo. The barn, completed in 1827, was renovated into a guest room and multipurpose space. A steel portal frame was added for structural reinforcement while restoring the original exterior atmosphere. The first floor is a dirt floor multipurpose space where events can be held, and part of the second floor is an insulated guest room.
